RAFA LOST FOR THE FIRST TIME AT RG

King of clay Rafael Nadal is out of Roland Garros after never losing there. Not many people expected that - probably nobody did. I though it could be a good match since Soderling beat my favorite for this years Roland Garros David Ferrer in previus round. But is still it is hard to believe that it really happened. RAFA IS OUT.

Robin Sodeling caused one of the biggest upsets in tennis world ever beating Nadal at Roland Garros in four sets 6-2, 6-7(2), 6-4. 7-6(2). Number 23 seeded Swede was able to do what many tennis player weren't - he was dominating today at the court. He had 9 aces and no double faults, he had 27 winners from 35 visit at the net. He was playing really good and took number 1 tennis player out. Tennis history changed today.

Rafael Nadal is out - it just sounds unbelivable, so is the second best tennis player on the clay this year Novak Djokovic, after his lost to Philipp Kohlschreiber 4-6,4-6,4-6 yesterday. Does that mean Roland Garros belongs to Roger Federer this year. Can he win and put all 4 Slams under his belt. I sure hope he can but we will have to wait and see if just maybe suprises are over for this years Roland Garros.

I was sad when my favorite players David Ferrer and Juan Carlos Ferrero lost, but now the two tennis players Robin Sodeling and Philipp Kohlschreiber, who defeated them also send home Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. But that is the game of tennis and tennis world that so many fans around the world love. What is next?

TALK TENNIS Ferrer & Ferrero

I keep on writing about my two favorite tennis players David Ferrer and Juan Carlos Ferrero so this post is about them.

They both live in a beautiful VALENCIA ( www.valencia-miracle.blogspot.com ) in Spain. I love this city - I was there the for the first time (for sure not the last :)) for tennis tournament OPEN DE TENNIS COMMUNIDAD VALENCIANA.

David Ferrer was born on 2 april 1982 in Javea in Spain. His parents are Jaime and Pilar. He start playing tennis at the age 8 with his older brother Javier. He became a profesional tennis player in 2000. David Ferrer is know as a fighter on the tennis court that never stops moving and running on the court. On february 2008 he achieved his best ranking so far as a number 4 tennis player of the world. So far he won 7 atp titles: Bucarest 2002, Stuttgart 2006, Aukland 2007, Bastad 2007, Tokyo 2007, home town Valencia 2008 and Hertogenbosch 2008. He also won David Cup with Spain in 2008. I had a pleasure meeting him and he is one of the nicest tennis players out there. To his fans he is known as FERRU. His website: www.davidferrer.com

Juan Carlos Ferrero was born on 12 february 1980 in Onteniente in Spain. He is a former number one tennis player. He won 2003 French Open also known as Roland Garros or clay court Grand Slam. He got his nickname MOSQUITO due to his speed and return ability on the tennis court. He also won Master Series in Rome 2001, Monte Carlo 2002 adn 2003 and Madrid 2003. ORDER OF PLAY tue 26 RG

ORDER OF PLAY for tue 26:

http://www.rolandgarros.com/en_FR/scores/schedule/index.html

So tomorrow we will be able to follow Novak Djokovic on the red clay of Roland Garros. He was impressive so far on clay court tournaments this year.

I personaly am happy because Juan Carlos Ferrero will be playing too and i am a huge fan of his. His rival will be Ivan Ljubicic. So for me this will be a match of the day and i am hoping we will be able to see it on tv, but not likely since a lot of americans are playing tomorrow too. I don't mind that but i would love to see Ferrero playing and i think that could be a great match.

Some other players will be able to follow tomorrow are number 5 seed Juan Martin Del Potro, french players Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gael Monfils, Arnaud Clement and Julien Benneteau. Americans Fish and Blake will be playing also and many others.

Roland Garros Day # 2

Roland Garros day 2 was better than day one. We had some fun with Rafa in pink--we enjoyed a little of Federer. Roddick played also, but soon he will go home early--I think!

Pablo Andujar won today--and yes, we are still waiting for Ferrero.....vamos.....

I think we can agree that in slams we all look forward to the second week--but we really enjoy the matches with our favourite players. What I mean is that the second week we have a higher level of competition--higher seeds remaining and fighting for the trophy. But anyhow, it will indeed get better....

Vamos...

CLAY SEASON IS THE REASON

There are many Great players' who can compete at a high level on Clay; we tennis Fans will definitely have a Feast. I have three favourite's for the 09 Final: Djokovic, Federer, and Nadal. All others can only dream at the moment. The truth is that these three are number 1, 2, and number 3 in the world. I am personally cheering for Ferrero, but the chances are extremely marginal. So, I am cheering for Federer. I trully feel Federer can win this year. He did just beat Nadal in Madrid to claim theMaster's title. I don't see any surprizes on this one. I am simply going to enjoy these next two weeks. We will have some long, long point's and extraordinay shot making for sure. This is the surface where a player must construct, orchestrate, and create his opportunities to triumph. I simply Love tennis! Enjoy it aswell!

Who will win this year at Roland Garros?

It is only 2 days left and this year Roland Garros will start and all the tennis lovers are asking themself: Can Nadal do it again? Or will it be Federer this year? Maybe Djokovic? Or somebody else?
Me as a fan of Juan Carlos Ferrero and David Ferrer would of course want to see them win but as long as matches are good as they can be on clay many tennis fans around the world will be smiling!

Who do you think will win?

WHO WILL WIN THE USA OPEN 2009?
