Juan Carlos Ferrero is in semi final of one of my favorite tennis tournaments Umag Open 2009. Juan defeated Maximo Gonzalez from Argentina 7-5 and 6-2.

Juan Carlos Ferrero defeated Christophe Rochus 6:2, 6:3 and David Ferrer defeated Daniel Koellerer 6:1, 6:7 (2) and 6:3. Vamos F's! Vamos!

Caroline-juanquinet asks: Hey Juan, After your match against Gonzalez in wimbledon, we were all very impressed. Would you say you're playing one of your best tennis ever ?


Juanqui: Yes that match was amasing, one of the matches I'm going to remember for a long time, and also is very special because Gonzales is a very good friend of mine.

Juanqui: Home team is allways a favorite, but in Davis cups anything can happen. Both Spain and Croatia have very good teams.




Mischa Le Moo asks: Juan Carlos, congrats on your 1st round win! I wanted to know if after your career as a tennis pro, would you consider becoming a rally driver?


Juanqui: It's one of the things I'd like to do, and its possible.

Juanqui: I think my hard work has given me a good result. This results give me alot of confidence to keep going.





Carlos asks: Hi JC!! In my opinion you have a nice draw.Do you think you can win the tournament?


Juanqui: I am playing very well and I hope to keep that level and I will for sure try to win the tournament.





Matija asks: Do you love life as a tennis player and do you miss your private life? Who is your best teammate? Your favourite victory?


Juanqui: To be a tennis player is very tough becase you travel alot and you gotta be far from home, but tennis is my love and life that I like to live.





Terrano asks: Hola Juan Carlos, mi nombre es Oscar y vivo en Catalunya desde que nací. Mi pregunta es, tienes la confianza suficiente como para volver al nivel tenistico de 2003? Muchas Gracias, y que sepas que eres mi tenista preferido.


Juanqui: It's very tough to be at the 2003 level because I got very big results. I would like to do it again, I'm working very hard to try to do it.

Juanqui: My goal for this year is to finish in top 15, I think I can do it because I've got no points to defend untill the end of the year.





Fran asks: Lleyton Hewitt acaba de conseguir wild card para Montreal. ?Alguna posibilidad de verte allí también?


Juanqui: I go to Montreal, but I think I have to play qualis because my ranking before the tournament felt down to 70th place so I couldn't get in.





Sanja asks: Hi! I just wanna ask you because you know him pretty good what can you say about David Ferrer?:) Good luck in Umag and have a great tournament!


Juanqui: He is a very good friend of mine, he lives very close to me so we can practice alot. We both are from Valencia so we are very good friends.





Caroline asks: What do you miss the most when you're at the other side of the world, materially speaking ?


Juanqui: To be with family, friends and Spanish food.

Tomorrow Juan Carlos Ferrero is playing again and David is playing his second round match too against Massu on Grand stand. This should be a great match so vamooooos David we know you are a fighter on the tennis court.

Juan Carlos will be playing first on the Center Court with Potito Starace from Italy. In Umag there are always a lot of italian tennis fans since is so close to Italy but Juan Carlos Ferrero is popular everywhere he plays due to his amazing persona. And let's not forget he is a former number 1 tennis player in the world and a grand slam winner. I am expecting a good match but I think Juan Carlos should win.

ROGER FEDERER IS A DAD

Number 1 tennis player in the world became a dad of twin girls - CONGRATULATION Roger and Mirka!


Roger Federer and his wife Mirka, proudly announce the birth of twin daughters, Charlene Riva and Myla Rose, who were born Thursday night, July 23rd in Switzerland.

"This is the greatest day of our lives. Mirka, Myla and Charlene are all healthy and doing very well."

David Ferrer was practicing today on the Center Court, he is not on the menu for tomorrow but Juan Carlos Ferrero is. Juan Carlos will be playing first match on the Center Court with Christopher Rochus. Vamos Juan!!!

Even though Novak Djokovic is not playing in singles competition due to not being prepared good enough he decided to play doubles with his younger brother at Umag Open. Talking about Djokovic, in Umag they prepared a special hard court so he can practice there for Usa Open.

DAVID FERRER IN QUATER FINAL OF HAMBURG

David is already in quater final in Hamburg. He defeated argentinian Juan Monaco in a good 3 sets match 4-6, 7-5, and 6-2.

Congratulation to one of my favorite tennis players who once again showed what a fighter on the court he is. I am so proud of being his fan and I am really happy he is back on the tennis courts after the injury. VAMOS DAVID!

DAVID FERRER IN PLAYING IN HAMBURG

One of my favorite tennis palyers David Ferrer in playing in Hamburg and he defeated german tennis player Florian Mayer 6:3, 6:2 in first round. GOOD JOB CHAMPION!!!

In next round he will play with argentinian Juan Monaco who defeated Mikhail Youzhny 7-6, 6-3. Vamos David!

JUAN CARLOS FERRERO HERO FOR SPAIN

The king is back. Juan Carlos Ferrero was there before - it was once again up to him if Spain will advanced in semi final of Davis Cup or not.

He won a title this year on clay already and he was playing really good at Wimbledon - the best spaniard there. Spanish captain Albert Costa decided that former number 1 player in the world and former Roland Garros winner Juan Carlos Ferrero is the right tactics for a deciding match between Spain and Germany.

Juan Carlos Ferrero came on the court with the desire to win and was playing just as great like in the times when he was number 1 in the world. His experience was noticable and Ferrero was able to become a hero for Spain again. Juan Carlos is known as a tennis player who likes playing for the country and he even canceled his vacation to be a part of Davis Cup team again.

The 29 year old Juan Carlos Ferrero from Valencia defeted Andreas Beck in 3 sets 6-4, 6-4 and 6-4. It was like a deja vu for some many fans of Ferrero out there. Just to see him playing Davis Cup again and being a spanish hero again and playing his game. The passion in his eyes and the happines after his win brings tears to my eyes.


CONGRATUALTION FERRERO! We are so happy for you. GO CHAMPION!!!

IT IS A TENNIS WORLD!

ROGER FEDERER WINS HIS FIFTH WIMBLEDON

With his 15th Slam Roger Federer became the greatest tennis player ever. It was one of the best final matches ever with Andy Roddick and Roger Federer challenging each other through the whole match.

It took Federer four hours and 16 minutes to creating a history. I enjoyed watching it and was almost wishing both of them could win. Andy was playing amazing and he took Roger to 16:14 in 5th set. But the 5th set was not the only battle, the whole match was really close and ended 5-7, 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (7-5), 3-6 and 16-14 in 5th set.

The match was so close that everybody watching it was guessing which way it will go. Federer served over 50 aces and when his Championship point arrived he grabbed it and became the best tennis player ever. With this win he also became number 1 tennis player in the world again.

CONGRATULATION ROGGER FEDERER! YOU DESERVE IT!
