ANOTHER WIN FOR FERRERO AT WIMBLEDON 2009

Juan Carlos Ferrero is using his wild card at Wimbledon 2009 really good. He defeated Giles Simon today 7-5 (7-4), 6-3 and 6-2. Juan Carlos served 7 aces and had 29 winners. His 1st serve % was 60% and he was able to convert 19 of 23 net approaches. His fastest serve today was 125 MPH.

Juan Carlos Ferrero defeated a lot of good playes so far at Wimbledon and in next round he has a new strong chalenge in Andy Murray who is playing great. They met in Queens the last time not long ago where Murray won.

With todays win Juan Carlos Ferrero became the first wild card since Goran Ivanisevic in 2001 to make the quarter-finals at Wimbledon.

Andy Murray beat Stanislas Wawrinka in 5 set match 2-6, 6-3, 6-3, 5-7 and 6-3.
Tommy Hass and Novak Djokovic will be playing each other in quater finals after they both won in 3 set matches today. Tommy Hass : Igor Andreev 7-6 (10-8), 6-4, 6-4, Novak Djokovic : Dudi Sela 6-2, 6-4 and 6-1.

Number 2 seed Roger Federer defeated Robin Soderling 6-4, 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-5). And croatian tennis player Ivo Karlovic was able to send home spaniard Fernando Verdasco in 4 set match 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (4-7), 6-3 and 7-6 ( 11-9).

My favorite tennis players David Ferrer and Juan Carlos Ferrero are playing really good at Wimbledon 2009.


Juan Carlos Ferrero was playing really good in his first round match, deafeating Mikhail Youzhny in 3 set match 6:3, 7:6 and 6:3. He served 6 aces and had 41 winners. His winning % on 1st serve was 78% and on 2nd serve 73%. He converted 5 of 5 break pints and his sucess at the net was 80%. His fastest serve that day was 126 MPH.

Today Juan Carlos continued with his good game and defeated Fabrice Santoro from France 6:7, 6:3, 6:4 and 6:3. Todays match statistics for Juan Carlos show 7 aces, 68 winners, winning % on 1st serve 80% and 2nd serve 64%. Juan Carlos was playing good but was unable to convert many break points today. He only converted 6 of 19 break points.

Juan Carlos Ferrero reached his first grass-court semi-final with a hard battle 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over Belgian Steve Darcis In Queen's London. He will be playing with Andy Murray for his spot in finals. Vamos Ferrero VAMOS!

Ferrero, currently No. 90 won his 400th atp singles match in his first-round win over Sebastien Grosjean. Juan Carlos is chasing his second ATP World Tour title of the season, after victory in Casablanca aerly this year. His confidence is groving and I am hoping for many more good wins for Juan Carlos Ferrero.

Juan Carlos Ferrero won his 400th tour-level singles match when two-time former Queen's finalist Sebastien Grosjean retired in their first-round clash, with Ferrero leading 6-2, 2-1. In his second round match he won against P. Mathieu 6-4, 6-4. He will be playing X .Malisse in next round so VAMOS CAMPEON!

At 3 pm (15:00) europian time on Court Suzanne Lenglen the final match between Roger Federer and suprizing finalist Robin Soderling will begin. They both had 5 sets in their semi-final matches. Roger defeated Juan Martin del Potro and Robin beat Fernando Gonazales.

So who will win? Will it be favorite Roger Federer or can Robin Soderling suprize him too. I personaly am cheering for number 2 seed Roger Federer because, I like him more and also because it would be good to see Federer having all four Grand Slams under his belt.

FEDERER & DEL POTRO IN SEMI FINAL

Number 2 seed and the favorite for the title at Roland Garros 2009, Roger Federer defeated Parisian Gael Monfils in 3 set match 7-6 (6), 6-2,6-4. There was some resistance from Gael in tight first set, which Federer won at the end in tiebreak. After winning that 1 set Roger was dominating and he finish the match pretty comfortable. So Federer secured yet another semi-final spot for him.

Another winner today is number 5 seed Juan Martin del Porto, who just like Roger Federer was able to win in straight set defeating Tommy Robredo 6-3, 6-4, 6-2. That is his first ever Grand Slam semi-final. His game and Roland Garros is impressive, he only lost one set so far in a second set tie break with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in their 4th round match. But next match for him is a big match with Roger Federer.

So we have all the man semi-finalists at Roland Garros now: Robin Soderling will play Fernando Gonzales and as I mentioned Juan Martin Del Porto will face Roger Federer. Who will win?

SODERLING AND GONZALES IN SEMI-FINAL

Robin Soderling is continuing with his fantastic tennis game on the clay of Roland Garros. After his big win over number one tennis player Rafael Nadal two days ago, today he destroyed numer 10 seed Nikolay Davydenko in short 3 set match 6-1,6-3,6-1. With this win he secured a spot in semi-final of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career.

Can Soderling maybe win this years Roland Garros? He for sure is playing amazing and in last 3 matches he send home really good tennis players: he defeated David Ferrer in third round, big win over Rafael Nadal and win for semi-final spot over Nikolay Davydenko. His confidence for sure is growing with every match he wins.

Fernando Gonzales is a second semi finalist at Roland Garros 2009. He secured his spot in semi-finals after defeating number 3 seed Andy Murray 6-3, 3-6, 6-0, 6-4 in two hours and 15 nimutes. Gonzales lost his first set in this match at this years Roland Garros but still his statistics so far are really good and his game has a good combination of variation and a lot of power.

So who will join them tomorrow?

Roger Federer (2) : Gael Monfils (11), Juan Martin Del Potro (5) : Tommy Robredo (16).

FED ADVANCES AFTER 5 SETS MATCH

Number 2 seed Roger Federer was able to come back after two sets down to beat Tommy Haas 6-7(4), 5-7, 6-4, 6-0, 6-2. A lot of tennis fans were starting to ask themselfs, while watching this long match - will Fed go home next? After Novak Djokovic losing 2 days ago and history defeat of Rafael Nadal yesterday at Roland Garros. But Roger Federer manage to turn it around and is still in the game to win his first Roland Garros title.

Local hero Gael Monfils defeated Andy Roddick in straight set 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 and he will be playing Roger Federer next. The only spanish tennis player still in the game is Tommy Robredo who defeated Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-4, 5-7, 7-6, 6-2. Argetinian Juan Martin Del Potro beat local hero Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in 4 sets 6-1, 6-7, 6-1,6-4.

Tomorrow on the menu: Andy Murray will face Fernando Gonzales and Robin Soderling who defeated Rafael Nadal yesterday will play with Nikolay Davydenko.
